Our pleasant climate makes for great play in any season, and all local courses openly welcome visiting/green fees players. Bay of Plenty courses offer a wide variety of landscape settings and a challenge for every golfer.
Mount Maunganui Golf Course is just a 5 minute drive away, and is a championship 18-hole, par 72 course. With smooth, fast greens this course is always a pleasure to play and the club boasts one of the most spacious and luxurious club houses in the country. Omanu Golf is also a splendid course and just 5 minutes from The Beaumont.

The Wairakei International Golf Course is further afield - an approximate 1 and a half hour drive from The Beaumont A day-trip to play the Wairakei International course is a must if you are serious about your golf. This 6414 metre, par 72 course has been rated as one of the top 20 courses in the world outside America by the prestigious US Golf Digest. Wairakeri's 18-holes are set admist beautifully lush bushland, and every hazard that nature and man can devise is here. Visitors are always welcome though bookings are essential.
Considered short by some and strenuous by others (because of the sand-based greens and very undulating terrain), the Tauranga Golf Course has earned the respect of top amateurs and professionals alike as an exacting test of shot placement and concentration. The course has interesting topography and variation in holes (it has been described as two courses in one). Tauranga Golf Course is just a 15 minute drive from The Beaumont.

Otumoetai Golf Club, also just a short drive from your luxury apartment, is a 9-hole course with an 18-hole layout. This is one course in Tauranga where visitors are virtually guaranteed the opportunity of a round of golf seven days a week. The newest club in the region, Golf Pacifica, (a half-hour drive from The Beaumont) is set on 75 hectares of rich, gently sloping land near the lovely country town of Katikati. The distinctive clubhouse was built in traditional Scottish style and every amenity you would expect of a modern golf course is here including a 10-bay covered driving range Golf Te Puke is an easy to walk and readily accessible course, just a 20 minute drive from The Beaumont. Players enjoy less waiting than other courses in the area at this course. The course has a par of 72 and it can be a test for all levels of golfer. This can vary from one of the longest at 6600m to a more sedate 5250m on full-irrigated fairways.
